I work in Word 2007 on a Vista server and can't read the files when I send

them to my old Windows 200 desktop. How can fix the problem?

What format are you saving them in. Word 2007 defaults to it's new

format docx. You can change the default or save as doc files.

In Word, use "Save As" and select "Word 97-2003 Document". This saves the

document with extension *.doc rather than the new *.docx.

Hi,

There is one more solution, Just deploy the compatibility patch on your

system.

The patch is for office 2007 & deploy it on earlier verison of Office.
