Could someone please take the time to talk me through reloading xp home on my pc as I'm running xp professional on there at the moment and want to downgrade to xp home. Many thanks in advance.

Hi my dell xp home cd came with the dell computer i got second hand, the op on it at mo is a counterfit xp pro by the looks of it that is why i wont rid of it the guy was a bit of a plonker i got it of.

How do we know that's not pirate also?

Hi mr w no i never got "shut" of the orignal o/p ! i recived the dell desktop with xp pro on it yes i was aware it had a none legal copy of xp pro on it i aslo new it had all the orignal o/p system with it and i was happy with that it was just the just case of loading it back on ! I am not sure how to assure you it is not a pirate o/p i am putting back on????? Please advise me what to do from here ? it is a real shame you seem to think the worse of people ............
