Guest Sean Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Using WinXP client and Win2003 enterprise server I am trying to have documents sync when computers are logging off or going on standbye using gpedit. However, I have been unsuccessful. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Guest Anthony Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Re: Group Policies Hi Sean, If you use Redirected folders, these will automatically synchronise at logoff. There is a policy option to sychronise on Suspend as well.. If you want other documents to sync, like in a shared folder, you need to: - In the Share, use the default setting to enable the files to be cached - In the policy, use the option to specifiy "Administratively assigned offline files" The policy options are in User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Network, Offline Files Hope that helps, Anthony, http://www.airdesk.co.uk "Sean" <Sean8621@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:9E0CB1FB-C89A-49B5-8F9A-1573C6C56C2B@microsoft.com... > Using WinXP client and Win2003 enterprise server I am trying to have > documents sync when computers are logging off or going on standbye using > gpedit.
