Guest kjs Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 I have a 2003 server that is the active domain controller. I want it to be the btp authoritative server to give out time to clients. I want it to get time from an external source. I followed Article ID 816042 and my server still does not get time from an external source. Am i missing something?

If it has the pdc emulator role, you only need: net time /setsntp:ntp.xxxx.com -- Cordialement, Mathieu CHATEAU English blog: http://lordoftheping.blogspot.com French blog: http://www.lotp.fr "kjs" <kjs@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:3B021DEA-5CBC-4416-9549-F887CD50B1B9@microsoft.com... >I have a 2003 server that is the active domain controller. Guest Simon Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 RE: ntp time server Does your firewall allow the NNTP protocol outbound for the server's ip address?
