office 2007

I am purchasing office 2007 for my home system, and I have an old laptop (7

yeasrs old)that has Windows ME on it. if I try to install office 2007, will

it accept it?

No. The most recent version of Office that can be installed on Win Me is

Office 2002 aka Office XP.
