walt Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Hi. I have a Belkin G+ wireless modem, that I want to connect to my computer wireless. I have no adaptor at the moment. Do you know what one I need? Do I go for a Belkin make or can I go for a different make? If I go for a different make it will be cheaper. I am running XP on a Dell Dimension 4600 which is about 4 years old, also running Internet speed of 100Mbps with Virgin Media. Walt Happy New Year to you all Quote

Tootech Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 You don't need the same make adapter. There are lots of adapters out there, I guess it's each to their own. Personally I don't like the bottom range Belkin adapters, I've seen loads of people have random connections issues with them. Netgear ones are ok, they run a bit hot, but work fine. I like these ZyXEL ZyAIR G-202 USB Adapter - Ebuyer They used to be bundled with Zyxel routers, now you can buy them seperately, good value, good signal, stable and reliable........ Quote
