Guest Rayees Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Hi I have a windows 2003 server (standard edition) and I have multiple partition which is in RAID 5 and RAID 1. My partition goes like this C: and E: is in RAID 1,and it contains OS and Apps. F: is is RAID 5, which contains user data. One fine morning when I went to Mycomputer and double clicked on F: drive I'm getting access denied message, I went to security permissions and noticed administrator group have full rights and I'm also sure I'm loging in using admin account. I have some folders inside F: drive and those folders are shared and I can access those share folders without any issue. But Why I'm unable to open the root driver (i.e. f) can someone help me please Regards Rayees

Guest Ken Zhao [MSFT] Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 RE: Access denied message while opening F: drive Hello Rayees, Thank you for using newsgroup! From your post, did the issue start happening suddenly? What about other partitions? Please make sure if you are using local administrator account login and access the F: partition. Can you access this partition from Windows Explorer or command prompt? What is the exact error message?
