Server Licensing

Hello

I have just moved to a company that purchased, in 2005, several Server and

Exchange CALs under an eOpen agreement. This agreement is now showing up as

expired in the eOpen website. Does this mean we are now no longer eligible

to upgrades and support but we still on the licences. Or to stay legal do we

need to upgrade the licences?

Many Thanks

Neil

If you had bought Software Assurance (SA) you'd be entitled to upgrades -

without SA, no upgrades. You're still entitled to use the licenses you

*bought*.

But don't just trust me on this ....all licensing questions should be

directed to Microsoft or a licensed reseller, to ensure you get the straight

dope.
