Creative x-fi 5.1 sound card..

Hi all

I have a sony home theatre system and i want to connect it to my PC so i wanted to know will 5.1 x-fi sound card work with it? I play lots of games so it would be good if i can hear sound my music system, currently i have creative 2.1 speakers connected to my PC.

Hi and welcome to Free PC help.

I see no problem, all you need are the leads with the right connectors at each end. Use the line out socket on your sound card and if you have one, line in on your sound system. If you need to go the other way round and send sound into the PC, just reverse the connection to line in on the card and line out on the sound system.

Eh, how exatly do you do that? I have always wanted to x-fi my entertainment system but i dunno how to ...
