Guest Noctaire Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 We created an ASR backup on a server with a RAID array (mirrored drives), swapped the drives out, then ran a restore on the new drives. Everything appeared to go ok but when the restore was done and the system restarted, it just kept rebooting. Didn't appear to make it past the POST. Are there any known issues with an ASR recovery and RAID controller drivers? Although it makes sense one would have to do the F6/add drivers bit during a fresh installation, I don't see why the restored version of Windows would be unable to handle the same controller on a new drive pair.
