Webcam Issue

Hi all, me again.

 

I bought a webcam a while ago off Ebay. It works fine but I've just reformatted and can't find the disc. The camera model is Lupo and it has no seriel number on it.

 

Can anyone shed any light on how I can install it ?

 

The camera is still advertised on amazon at the moment...

I have looked everywhere for you and have failed to find any such drivers or software for this webcam, as there i no website or anything at all!

 

so I am afraid that the answer is to buy another webcam, preferably one that exists :P or is well know, easy to get drivers from or other help.

 

that is, unless anyone else can find the drivers or software you need.

The last and final one would be to shut down, unplug it if still connected, reboot, once fully booted plug it back in, it should then either self install or Windows will ask to search for drivers, see if Windows can find them on the web.

Windows can't find anything.

 

Having looked through the web for hours, I am just giving up hope. Lots of other seem to be having the same issue.

 

Are there are drivers which are "basics" which cover the basic function ?

If I recall correctly that camera was listed for about 8 pounds on ebay or the like.

 

Assuming that you have put 2 hours into finding drivers and another 2 trying to find the answer here, you have valued your time at about 2 pounds per hour and counting down.

 

Polo was right first off. Webcams are cheap enough. I can only guess how good this one would be if you did get it running.

FOUND IT!!!!

 

 

I found a screen shot on my back up file of a the program file list. And there was something called : " USB PC Camera VC305"

 

 

Searched on google, job done ;)
