Same Problem Here

Hello Everyone,

I'm a Client Systems Administrator for McCoy Corporation and our users

are having the same issue. What is the batch file you created as a

logon script to fix this issue? If it's fine by you I'd like to be

able to test implementing this into our environment.

To add to that we have some users who are having difficulty accessing

legacy software when connected through the VPN due to these same

restrictions.

Thank you.

Hi, Stewart - this isn't a forum, it's an internet newsgroup (usenet). As

you've posted this as a new message, and not a reply in an existing thread,

it's highly unlikely that the original poster will see this - and nobody

else is likely to know what you're talking about.

Help us to help you:

I suggest you try using a news client, such as Forte Agent, Thunderbird, or

even Outlook Express, rather than Google Groups (or the MS web interface) to

access the newsgroups. I's a lot easier to do nearly everything that way.

You can mark messages to be watched, filter the views so you can see replies

to your posts easily. Google Groups is great for searching old posts, but is

not the best way to *use* them.

The Microsoft public news server is msnews.microsoft.com and you can

subscribe to as many groups as you like; no authentication is required.
