Hi, I went to log onto my computer today and suddenly my password doesn't work. hmm.... So i try and old password from about a month ago. and it works Bigger Hmm.... So i log on and all seems to be well and then change password and all works fine. Now is it possible that my computer automatically did a system restore? if so is there a way of tracking this? Cheers

I don't know what that means Chris.

It seems unlikely that there was an automatic system restore unless there is some bug that has ordered it. Windows does set restore points though.

The easiest way to tell is to simply go to your system restore and check the dates in bold. See if there are any notes other then the basic system checkpoint.

You will notice major changes with a system restore - programs that you installed since would not be there (normally)
