using IGEL units, But the connection keeps freezing for a few seconds and

then starts working ok again. any suggests

Re: Slow Terminal Services On windows 2003 server

Hi,

If you run continuous pings from the thin clients to the server,

are there any lost packets or higher round trip times when

the freezing occurs?

When the freezing occurs, what numbers do you see for

CPU usage, commit charge total, physical memory total, and

Pages/sec?

If you use Performance monitor to track key metrics do you

see gaps in the data collection at the time of a freeze?

When a freeze occurs are the users able to bring up the

Windows Security Dialog by pressing Ctl-Atl-End? This will

give you an idea if the entire session is freezing or just a

particular application.

Do *all* sessions freeze at the same time or only some or one?

we don't get packet lost or high round trip times, it looks like it didn't

happen, But all the users freeze.
