Cpu usage

Hello,

 

Our Windows 2003 server R2 is very slow this morning.

 

I checked Task Manager:

 

The CPU usage is about 60%.

But I checked Processes, the System Idle Process is 98~99%.

 

I cannot find any other processes use 60% CPU.

 

Help Please!

Hello,

 

in the task manaer, in the view menu, did you check the "Show kernel times"

?

 

any defrag / antivirus running a scan ? check scheduled task too

Hello,

 

Kernel Times uses most of CPU.

 

i.e. 60% CPU usage -> Kernal Times is about 57%

 

What is the kernel times?

 

 

I canceled all secheule task, defrag, antivirus scan disk...

 

This server is still running slow.
