best viewed on Internet Explorer

This website is best viewed on Internet Explorer version 5.3 or above

When trying to open a web site I get the above

 

 

 

This is in vista ( very little knowledge of vista)

 

I used to be able to click on a drop down tab in firefox to allow me always to view this site in ie. the drop down is missing

Okay well we know it's not a problem with you specifically, as I too get that same error.

 

I believe that it has just been written to only view in IE, such as the Microsoft Windows Update website.

 

Have you been able to view this site before in Firefox?

Hello Bob. If you are unwilling to ditch Firefox even for a second, you might want to try IE Tab.

Lol the lazy buggers at the post office can't be be bothered to code the the site to work with any other browser.

 

The same thing occurred with the Job Centre Plus site at one time.

Goku's IE TAB solved it for me.

 

I should have remembered that as it worked fine in windows xp once I added the IE TAB. But being new to trying out vista (some of you know this) it was just another hurdle to climb.
