Terminal Server/VPN Question

Recommended Posts

We have some remote users that are connecting to our office via remote

desktop/TS. On the TS machine there is a Client/Access application that

uses a VPN connection to access another companies AS400. I'm having trouble

getting the remote users connected through this VPN. If I sit at the TS

machine the VPN will work fine. If I try the same thing through a RD

connection it will not connect. Does TS not allow this or does anyone have

a suggestion how to correct the problem?

Thanks!

Re: Terminal Server/VPN Question

The possible issue we may have is the TS will be multihomed computer if it

tries to establish the VPN. What's the problem you have? The TS is

disconnected when try the VPN or do you receive an error?

Re: Terminal Server/VPN Question

There's no error at all but the VPN will not connect. You can ping the IP

no problem but the VPN won't authenticate.
