Guest Comwonen Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 We have made sub-folders for our pool cars in public folders and these can be seen through a link in our favourite folder. Before the name would be displayed as just the number plate for example the folder would be called xx-yy-01 (dutch number plate). We could display 5 car folders next to each other with out any problems but since about a week the names of the folders also include the the name public folder. Because the name is now so long it is not possible the five folders next to each other, for example:- The folder name is displayed now as "xx-yy-01 in public folder" To solve the problem we tried two switsches: /cleanview and / resetnavpane but it did'nt help. Does any one know what causes this problem and how we can resolves it?.

Hi - this would be better posted in microsoft.public.exchange.*. Probably ..clients. What version of Exchange & what SP? What version of Outlook & what SP? Are you looking at your public folder favorites in the client? What are the folder names when you look at them on the server?

What are > the folder names when you look at them on the server? I have just placed my question in microsoft.public.exchange.admin. Thanks F.y.i., We use Exchange 6.5.7638.1 and Outlook 2003 (11.8118.8132) SP2. I look at the public Folder favorites via the client. The foldernames on the server are correct and does not contain "in public folder".
