Guest Ray K Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 On my friend's ME computer, if she goes to this link http://www.kodakgallery.com/ShareLandingSignin.jsp?Uc=194gz3lp.50w9ljw1&Uy=-sezvvh&Upost_signin=Slideshow.jsp%3Fmode%3Dfromshare&Ux=0 she sees the first photo of a set of four in the slideshow. If she then clicks on View Slideshow, the same photo, but larger, will (usually) appear. If she clicks on the right-pointing arrow (to the right of Play), photo 2 appears. Click on the same arrow again, and nothing happens - no photo 3. Clicking on the left-pointing arrow does NOT take her back to photo 1 - she's hung up at photo 2. And sometimes, when she goes to the above link, that smaller photo of the kitten does not appear. When she gets hung up at photo 2, we recover by closing that browser (IE) window, returning to the email that originally provided the above link, and clicking on the link again. Thanks for your suggestions. Ray
Guest Heirloom Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Re: Trouble displaying photos Has she got the latest version of Quick Time? It seems that Quick Time Scriptable Object, or some such nonsense, is required for the slideshow. Heirloom, old and just some old one-eyed cat anyway "Ray K" <raykosXXX@optonline.net> wrote in message news:aTuVi.64$So6.54@newsfe12.lga... > On my friend's ME computer, if she goes to this link > > http://www.kodakgallery.com/ShareLandingSignin.jsp?Uc=194gz3lp.50w9ljw1&Uy=-sezvvh&Upost_signin=Slideshow.jsp%3Fmode%3Dfromshare&Ux=0 > > she sees the first photo of a set of four in the slideshow. Guest Ray K Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Re: Trouble displaying photos Thanks for the excellent lead. I don't think she has it. I'll followup on it next time I'm over her house. It was not installed. I installed the version for ME, but the problem is still present. I can only view the first two pictures in an album. The computer works perfectly with albums at snapfish, and YouTube works. Ray
