I recently started using a new pc with Windows XP Pro, microsoft office xp professional and IE7. In the last few days email would show up in my inbox when I pressed send/receive and some of them would appear for a half second and disappear. I have no idea where they are going and neither does my ISP. Has anyone heard of this problem and how to fix it. Ken

If you are indeed using MS Outlook 2007 then there have been a number of cases with the same problem as you.

does it happen to ALL your new emails? or just a few?

Can you try this for me, if you are using MS Outlook 2007 NOT MS Outlook Express;

Open Outlook

Go to Tools > Account Settings > Data Files tab.

Do you see your mailbox listed there?

If so, select it as the delivery location,

Stop and restart Outlook.

From what you describe your emails could be getting shipped off to a spam junk box.

Do you use a security suite with a SPAM filter?

Sometimes a security package installs a spam filter and you don't realise it is switched on and live.
