rainy242 Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Hiya hope someone can help. Im not sure if this is a malware problem,it may not be, but when I read a message in windows live or sometimes when I am looking at ebay products an internet dialogue box appears telling me that there is a problem with an add on and internet explorer needs to close, the add on it refers to is flash.ocx, the company macromedia and it says this free player is required to view the website you are visiting. This happens quite regularly and I am not given the option to download it. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem. Best regards:confused: Quote

RandyL Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 It sounds like your flash player is corrupted. Run the uninstaller. Reboot. Then download and save the stand alone installer ,Version 10 is the latest, before running it. Reboot. It could also be the Shockwave player but try this first.
