Hi Fab,

Take a look at the following and take the time to follow the instructions carefully. It is a highly effective disinfection program.

Let us know how you make out.

Your computer could be infected with Malware.

  • Malware is software designed to infiltrate or damage a computer system without the owner's informed consent.
It is a combination of the words malicious and software.
The expression is a general term used by computer professionals to mean a variety of forms of hostile, intrusive, or annoying software or program code.

  • Required Cleanup Steps
    1. Disable the Spybot Search & Destroy TEA TIMER if you use it and if it is enabled
    2. Run a Temporary file and cache cleaner (ATF)
    3. Run 2 Anti-Malware scanners (Listed Below)
    4. Run an Online Anti-Virus / Anti-Malware Scanner (Listed Below)
    5. Clear out old System Restore points
    6. If continued Malware type activity is present you may be asked to post a TrendMicro™ HijackThis™ Log file, do not do so unless requested.

The reason to run multiple scanners is to ensure that no single scanner is missing something.

The time it takes will vary depending on your system and your internet connection speed.

Typically the SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes scanners will take between 10 to 90 minutes.

The ESET online scan should take between 1 to 3 hours.

In most cases, these scans will suffice to clean and disinfect your computer.

Heavily infected systems or slower PCs can take much longer to scan and clean.

For best results print the following instructions and bookmark this Web page

From your browser select File - Print and in the printer dialog box under "Print range"

click the

choice to print out these instructions for removal of malware.

Yet here you are. :)

While you are, download the files and save them to disk or flashdrive and install them from there.

Ok so i did everything you told me, some of which it would not allow me to do.

I have also tried every anti-virus/scans ect i could find.

Although the programme doesn't load up it is still on my pc as i am still not able to access and internet sites (I am currently on a different pc)

I have also tried to restore the system to a date when the virus was not on my pc and this would not work either.

Anyone know of anything else i can try?

Thanks

If you use a router and ethernet cable to connect to the internet, try starting your PC in Safe Mode with Networking.

Hopefully you will be able to get on the Internet to run through the Malware Removal procedure.

Have you looked at the posts above? DaloHarkin sent you to a possible fix but, again, you may have to go there on another PC.

Once you have the exe file for malware bytes it should install.

Finally, if you are wireless have you tried using the ethernet connection as TooTech suggested?

The malware removal program should be done step by step without going back to the internet except where you are instructed to as part of the program.

It will take hours to really go through all the files that are on that site. I cannot see how you could have checked them all. That being said, read the comments on the same page. There also seems to be a removal tool just above the instructions for manual removal. Have you tried it?

I noticed that there is some mention of it showing up as a process in msconfig and that it would need to be stopped for any valid attempt at removal.
