struggling Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Speaking as a fellow American, I must say I've had mixed feelings about Obama. In the beginning I was impressed with his charismatic personality. And yes, we definately needed a change. The novelty of the first black American president was also intriguing. But, as 2008 moved along, many of his earlier writings, statements, and points of view were disturbing to me. He may well turn out to be the best thing to come down the turnpike in a long while.
