memory switch for terminal server

Hi all,

 

I have 4GB RAM on this windows2003 R2 SP2

standard Terminal server. Do I need to

add /3GB /PAE in the boot.ini?

Hi,

 

Please do *not* use /3GB switch on a TS

 

Yes to /PAE, depending on your hardware it may be enabled

automatically. Look under System Properties for "Physical

Address Extension" at the bottom of the General tab; this

means that it is already enabled. If not add the switch and

see if windows recognizes more total RAM after a reboot

(verify in System Properties again).
