Hi,

I'm having an intermittent problem with one of my windows 2003 standard

edition servers.

Login is failing (although in security audit, login is succesful) but the

windows desktop fails to appear and getting:

Window Application Error:The application failed to initialize properly

(0xc0000044)

Sessions already logged in remain working without issues.

Any help greatly appreciated.

An event I keep seeing in my logs is:

Event Type: Error

Event Source: Application Popup

Event Category: None

Event ID: 333

Date: 01/11/2007

Time: 16:05:37
