I know this is not a MS issue however, maybe someone still can help me. I

have two HP ML380 server with a RAID 5 configuration. On one server it want

keep the Array 641 from HP as a primary boot controller. If I restart the

server there is no problem, however, I the server is shut down the only way I

can boot is to enter the configuration Screen (F8) to select the Array again

as boot controller, but then again it won't save it and the next time there

is the same problem again. I don't believe it is a flat battery in the BIOS

as the time and other configurations are not changed.

I really would appreciate if someone could help me, it is driving me mad.

What could I have overseen.

Thank you in advance for all your input

You might want to read the paragraph "Setting the controller order" found

here.
