Guest leo@tech-trans.com Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Hi, I have a Windows 2003 server with sp2 and running terminal service. It reboots random and with 0x000000ab error in system event viewer. I checked the newsgroups. All of message show the problem can be solved by applying sp2. However, SP2 has been installed in the server. How can I do? Ming

The problem wasn't due to a service pack, but it was due to bad hardware. After numerous calls with HP Support, they shipped a new motherboard, RAM, processors, VDM's and Hard Drive Backplane, as doing it piece meal was not resolving the issue. That was about a year ago. Since then, we have had only 1 random reboot out of the server. I hope this helps you and good luck!
