Guest Cosby Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 I've been trying to run reports with the new File Server Management tool in regards to Duplicate files, old files, and large files. I've run into one problem though that I was hoping to get some help with. There's a maximum of 1000 files that the report will return. The report will tell you how many files match the criteria, but only displays the first 1000. Is there a way to increase this maximum, or to alter the way the report runs to exclude certain files after you've confirmed that they do need to remain? Any help would be appreciated. -- Thanks Cosby

Guest Cosby Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Re: R2 report limitations Well that's a bummer. Thanks for the heads up. Any idea if this will be addressed in future updates? -- Thanks Cosby "Jabez Gan [MVP]" wrote: > Hi Cosby, > > Sorry in this version of FSRM, there is no way to extend the maximum of 1000 > files... :( > > -- > Jabez Gan > Microsoft MVP: Windows Server - File Storage > "Cosby" <Cosby@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:91A3611A-766A-4E68-B864-098E222FC7A3@microsoft.com... > > I've been trying to run reports with the new File Server Management tool > > in > > regards to Duplicate files, old files, and large files.
