When remote users try to login to terminal server they get error “The remote

session was disconnected because the local computer’s client access license

could not be upgraded or renewed.”

This is happening on multiple computers at different location despite the

fact that I can login with same credentials without any problem.

Re: Unable to login to Terminal Srever from some machines.

This has nothing to do with user credentials, it's a licensing

problem.

Do you have a TS Licensing Server installed and activated?

Did you purchase and install TS CALs on the TS Licensing Server?

How many of them are issued / available?

What type of TS CALs did you install?

What's the licensing mode of your terminal Server?

Have you verified that the TS can locate the LS?

What OS is your server running? And your clients?

Try to delete the folowing registry key on your clients :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSLicensing
