I can't put my terminal services in server working

Hi. I have just installed windows 2003 server web edition.

 

I already configure the terminal services to accept connection from

administrators and nothing.

 

Do I have to do something special to put it work?

If you mean that you have enabled Remote Desktop for

Administration, in Control Panel - System - Remote, then that's all

you should have to do.

 

Exactly what error message do you get when you try to connect?

Do I have to activate remote desktop control to use Terminal Services?

 

Isn't that only for winxp remote assistance?

A Windows 2003 Server Web Edition cannot run Terminal Services,

i.e. it cannot support more than 2 connections, and those are for

Administrative use only.

This is called Remote Desktop for Administration, and you enable it

in Control Panel - System - Remote, under "Remote Desktop".

 

You do *not* have to enable Remote Assistance in the same dialog

box.

 

If you use an account with Administrator priviliges on the server,

you don't have to add any user accounts to the Remote users group

either, because the Administrators have this right by default.

 

Again: exactly what error message do you get when you try to

connect?
