Live Messenger

We have Live Messenger installed on our Windows 2003 Terminal Server. Users

are being faced with Live Messenger "Not Responding", Freezing, and locking

up. Is there anything that can be done to help this?

do you have the latest version ? any high cpu activity ? slow internet

connectivity ?

Running Live Messenger 8.1 (Build 8.1.0178.00)

CPU does seem a bit higher then normal but internet seems fine.

 

Just checked the event logs and found alot of the follow three errors for

different users

 

Event ID 302 Source ESNET

msnmsgr (31208) \\.\M:\Documents and Settings\fred\Local

Data\Microsoft\Messenger\fred@hitechseals.com\SharingMetadata\Working\database_9CFC_E1EE_FCE1_C29E\dfsr.db:

The database engine has successfully completed recovery steps.

Settings\fred\Local Settings\Application

Data\Microsoft\Messenger\fred@hitechseals.com\SharingMetadata\Working\database_9CFC_E1EE_FCE1_C29E\fsr.log.
