This thread apparently was finally cleared and I was notified today in my

Hotmail account. It is on page 7 of this newsgroup but I wanted to repost it

since it was so buried that few people would notice it. The hacking happened

apparently around the same time (in August/September 2007) my system was

hacked because I was foolish enough to install VPN without realizing it makes

my computer as weak as the weakest computer on the Albuquerque School Network

according to Chris Quirke, MVP.
