Guest Steve Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Hi, I have a Windows 2003 Server with SP1 installed. I have lost the original Server CD. And I want to Install Exchange 2003 on it, Can I use the relevant options from a Windows 2003 R2 server CD so that I can install Exchange?
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Re: Windows 2003 Server Hello Steve, You do not need server 2003 during installation of exchange, except you will install additional 2003 software or the needed tools are not installed. If then call MS support, they can send you a new installation disk. Guest Meinolf Weber Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Re: Windows 2003 Server Hello Steve, Is the R2 set the same version (Standard or Enterprise) like the running? Not really sure, but it should work.
