It's reported on the BBC news this morning that Google have unveiled it's first major upgrade to its global mapping software.

 

Users may now explore under the surface of the sea's, the expansion includes 20 content layers, and takes another step towards total coverage of the globe.

(Personally I find 'under the sea' fascinating - as long as I'm not in it. I swim like a rock and get sea sick stirring my coffee cup! :))
