I understand the laughter, though - it's so horrible it's either laugh or cry and at least no one was seriously injured.

 

Unfortunately, days like that aren't all that uncommon (could be one of the reasons that car insurance rates are so high?) ... and I can assure you from personal experience that when one is driving a 40 foot city bus and comes over the top of a hill to solid ice, sliding sideways all the way down - smacking each and every car parked on the side all the way down - with a full standing load of terrified people - well, it's an 'interesting' experience - eep! :)

 

And one of the few times I deliberately broke the law - couldn't climb back up the hill to leave a note under each damaged car's windshield, simply because the Fireman and I were flat on our bums each time we tried to take a step and there was a moment when I thought we'd be flattened by a Police car coming to rescue everyone - but instead sliding straight into the side of my bus!

Lol, and we moan about the roads not being cleared in the UK, sort of puts things into prospective really.

I get the impression that the estate car was driven by a criminal trying to escape, as there were definite gun shots from that one!!
