hidden folders/files?

Recommended Posts

Using Win2003Ent.

I have a drive that only has two folders. When I right click on properties

for the two folders, one folder shows size of 0 and the other shows size of

3MB. However, when I look at properties for the drive it shows 21G capacity

with only 3G free. I have show hidden files and folders turned on.

If there are hidden folders/files on that drive how do I see them? What else

could it be. I've emptied the recycle bin.

Thanks,

You've probably still got system files/folders hidden.

I'd use something like TreeSizePro (or similar) to find out what's lurking

where.

Re: hidden folders/files?

If you mean "hide protected operating system files" then that is unchecked.

Or do you mean something else?

Re: hidden folders/files?

If you don't have access to the files (for example a Profiles folder), the

size does not show up either,
