Are you using the version of the Remote Desktop Client

that came with your 2003 server? The install file for it is

located on the server's hard drive here:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\clients\tsclient\win32\msrdpcli.msi

After it is installed the shortcut to launch it will be located

under Programs.

As soon as you have addressed the above check the server's

system log for errors. You can solve these errors by installing

drivers that are known to be compatible with TS or mapping

to a suitable driver that shipped with 2003. Mapping instructions

here:

Windows 2000 Terminal Services server logs events 1111, 1105, and 1106

Thanks for your help.

and got event 1111 which indicated the third party driver from Canon.

How do I map if manaully install the printer driver in the terminal server?

I used to remember's file is wtsprnt.inf and now I can not find this file.

Thank you.

Re: How do I solve the network printer redirection problem?

Thanks for your help.

I have windows 2003 R2 SP2 terminal server and I installed the client from

the server client folder and the client version mstsc.exe is shown 5.2.3790,

not 6.0.

do you know why? Hoe can I get version 6.0 client?

Thank you.

Re: How do I solve the network printer redirection problem?

I don't recommend the version 6.0 client. If you want

to use it you can download it from Microsoft or install

it through windows update.
