Hi all,

Bit of a rookie on pc's and new to this site so please have patience.

When i go to windows media the task bar shows but media wont appear it just stays on desktop, had this prob for a week now. Just dont know how it happened please help :frusty:

What version of WMP are you using?

 

Have you tried uninstalling it and installing the latest version, and if it is the latest version, have you just tried reinstalling it?

Hi polo, thanks for your response, i think its windows 9 i uninstalled and replaced with 11 and done both the things you mentioned to both. i am a novice but i think i recall at one stage it was being used by another computer though dont see how that could be right
