csrss.exe takes a lot of I/O

Hi,

I'm starting to get this problem on multiple windows 2003 servers (different

clients). All those servers have remote desktop enabled. When we open a

remote desktop connexion, the csrss.exe process takes a lot of disk activity

resulting in slow server response. As soon as we log off from the terminal

session, everything comes back to normal. I used process explorer to figure

out what was the problem; i/o bytes always between 30 and 40 megs with

process csrss.exe.

Please do not respond with alternatives of using other products to take

possession of the server. One of those server is a terminal server.

Anyone has an idea what can be done?

Thanks

RE: csrss.exe takes a lot of I/O

Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After all the research I've made, never found

this. The only difference from the kb and my case is that csrss.exe does not

take a lot of cpu but the consequence is the same so I'm sure the hotfix will

resolve my case.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

Regards
