I seem to have lost the toolbar with files, tools,and veiw ect. I just have toolbar that with send and recieve and the other stuff related to windows mail.

 

Can anybody help.?

I don't see a setting to hide that or to return it.

 

I can't recall if it was there or not before I installed SP1.

 

Do you have all of the Windows updates including Vista SP1?

I happened when I downloaded windows live mail on my computer. I also downloaded it onto my wife’s computer and she still has the other toolbar visible above the windows live mail toolbar. Would it still be worth reinstalling it? it must have gone somewhere :)

The point is that you may get an option to repair the files by reinstalling it Dave

Found it

It is on the top r/hand side of the menue bar under show menue/ show all menues. Sounds simple now that I have found it.

Small world I was born in Keighley. I did a lot of fell running there abouts, and mountain marathons in the lake District ( Lakelands Mountain marathons) miss the beer.:)
