Guest pedestrian via WinServerKB.com Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 I'm using Windows Server 2003 and a DLink 4-port Router with built-in model. I always use my server OS PC as a stand alone workstation and connect using ADSL connection to serve the net like windows XP (Local Area Connection in Windows) However, my windows LAN connection sometimes disconnect and reconnect immediately. (with the LAN icon in the taskbar appear - disconnect and disappear - connect again immediately). When I check my DLink router, the connection was indeed never disconnected. I don't think the issue is with my ISP. Are there any settings in Windows Server 2003 that I need to set to avoid the issue? Kindly advise, thanks... -- Regards, Pedestrian, Penang.
