USB 3 in 2008

It appears that computer users will have USB 3 in 2008 and according to this

article it will be backwards compatible with USB 2. It will be interesting

to see what the future holds for computing and technology in general.

In firewire 800 speed, the system (mentioned in the link)has to keep up with

the bus. Most don't, and crap out. No such thing as "back-pedal" in such a

scenario. Something to consider.... And if even such "back-pedal" is

possible, what's the pont in such scenario for faster hardware?
