Basic : using terminal services for monitoring

Hi,

I am new to Terminal services. I wanted to know that if terminal services

could be used for monitoring activities on the server e.g i have experienced

that the server session terminates (logoff) when client connects to the

server. what i want is that when client connects to the server the server

should continue working normally and client only monitors activities on the

server.

If this is not possible, please point out which technology to use.

Please comment on the use of VNC for this purpose.
