I'm running a w2k3 enterprise server as an 8 port fax server using a

Multitech ISI5634UPCI/8. It receives sever hundreds of fax's a day.

However, about one in 5 fails with the following error:” Reception

error" "Unknown fatal error" "0x0000000c" MultiTech Systems

MT5634SMI-V92"

 

There is no source pattern to these errors and no patter to the

receiving line. I've had all of the lines tested. Disabled Compression

and I've updated the modems to the latest Windows drivers (it’s on the

Windows HCL):
