2 DVD roms under 1 name

Dear All,

 

I've recently built a new pc. I have 2 dvd rom drives. They are connected to the mother board with one cable. they both have power, they both open and close. They both show up in device manager.

 

In "computer" in vista, only one shows up. when i right click on it and press eject, both drives open together. They are both the same model and brand.

 

How do i tell the computer there are two of them?

Solved!!!

 

Issue solved. It turns out that they both had identical jumper settings.

lol I always wondered what happened if you done that :) never tried it though in case it damaged the drives
