Background:

Windows 2000 DC upgraded to W2k3R2. Server1 is a DC for a subdomain

(server1.subdomain.domain.com). The domain.com consists of two W2k3R2 x64

DCs. The subdomain consists of one W2k3R2 x32 DC and two W2k SP4 DCs.

Fault:

Event Type: Error

Event Source: AutoEnrollment

Event Category: None

Event ID: 13

Date: 14/11/2007

Time: 12:26:01

User: N/A

Computer: SERVER1

Description:

Automatic certificate enrollment for local system failed to enroll for one

Domain Controller certificate (0x80070005). Access is denied.

Actions:

I have run netdiag on all DCs which comes back as ok. I keep getting the

above message on server1.subdomain, and have had it a couple of times on a DC

in domain.com

Any help greatly appreciated.

Pete.
