Event Logs Not Displaying Correctly

Since moving a Windows 2000 server to VMWare I have noticed that ALL events

recorded to the APPLICATION and SECURITY Logs now have

"The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or

message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following

information is part of the event:"

 

The SYSTEM logs appear correctly.

How do I correct this so that the correct event information is displayed?
