Access Denied

I have an application installed on Terminal Server that only administrator

and the consultant who created it can access. Everyone else gets an access

denied message including me, although I am in the administrators group. I

have added users to the administrators group as well, but still can not

access. I have selected relaxed security thinking it to be legacy application

issues but still no results. Can anoyne help me with this? Thanks

Re: Access Denied

Administrator - FC, Howard Ellman (user in question)- Modify, System - FC,

Users - Read & Execute, Read, Write.

Re: Access Denied

Since only the Administrator account has FC, and the Administrators

group isn't in the ACL, being a member of the Administrators group

doesn't give any extra permissions.

However, according to the ACL, normal users should be able to start

the application. So the permissions problem lies somewhere else,

can be somewhere on the file system or in the registry. Was the

server put into install mode before installing the application?

Check here for methods to solve this kind of problems:

My application runs fine for Administrators, but not for normal

users

http://ts.veranoest.net/ts_faq_applications.htm#FileRegMon

My application runs only for the Administrator who installed the

application, but not for normal users or other accounts with

Administrator rights
