Windows defender in windows 10

Hi, I love the idea of having an integrated anti virus for free on my windows 10. But why is it so hard to make an anti virus that don't suck all ur computer resources I mean I cant even type of my laptop being so bad now after the last update and windows defender there over and over again killing my machine..

 

make it less cpu, disk and ram usage please its really annoying I cant use my machine to play video games or do my college homework anymore its giving me life problems and I don't want to get to the point were I just disable antimalware service exe, rundll32 and everything that comes with windows cause its bad just a bad anti virus its horrible basically instead helping it just does not help it makes people stress dealing with something they don't even know how to tweak with it...

 

please do not ask if I updated my windows, my drivers or scan for anti virus or also if I installed something else cause I did all exept for installing anything cause all I have is Microsoft office and my video game league of legends which since that update fps at worst than my first computer with windows xp between 5 to 12 fps in a super computer.

 

I got a i7 processor and 16 gb ram with a amd radeon with 4 gb its a super machine now please fix it I'm serious I cant do my homeworks anymore cause it takes around 15minutes to open powerpoint or word please help...
