9/15/2016 Windows Defender update ???

Opened laptop this morning, greeted by an automatic WinDef update. On restart, Settings are changed i.e. icon and icon font sizes, have slight keyboard lag, issues, Man, issues.

 

Couldn't find any info online regarding said update. No funny business in downloads. Somethings up though. Ran a definition update for defender, ( it did it yesterday at 4:29pm PST. I had shut down and restarted after that; no update occurred then) box stated 'couldn't update Virus defs cause of internet connection problem. I was watching it, there was NO connection issues, at all.

 

So, question, Have I been got ?

 

 

Anybody ?
